This book, produced in close collaboration with the Hunger Studies Institute, offers to the readers: first of all, an ordered and critical synthesis on the food crisis; secondly, a reconstruction of the reforming process of the world food security governance that has been developing since the spring of 2008; in the third place, a first analysis of the reform of the CFS, which has emerged as the keystone of global governance; fourth, a compilation of views on these issues from some people involved in this process, representatives of international organizations, the field of human rights, civil society networks or study centers; and finally, in conclusion, some reflections from the organizations that run this campaign. The study, overall, makes a point saying that the root of hunger in the world is not a lack of resources but the lack of will on the part of world leaders to ensure a good distribution.
